Radhe, a prodigious classical singer, is deeply rooted in the traditions of Indian classical
music. Radhe thus nutures a deep sense of love for classical music, and has received extensive
training in it under the guidance of his grandfather Panditji, who is widely considered to be a
legendary maestro by aficionados. His family legacy demands discipline, purity, and an
unwavering commitment to the art form, treating music as a sacred pursuit rather than a
profession. Panditji sees commercialization as a betrayal of this legacy, believing that classical
music must remain untouched by market forces to preserve its authenticity.
However, Radhe’s world changes when he meets Tamanna, a rising pop singer who introduces
him to the possibilities within the commercial music industry, offering him active opportunities
to collaborate, and showcase his music. The two become involved romantically over their
collaborations, although he does it anonymously. When Panditji learns of this, he offers Radhe
a choice: to stop or be ousted from his community and lose his position as Panditji's successor
in the world of classical music.
